© OGRAM Games 1964

A challenging fun game for the whole family (ages 8 and up) that you can print out and play at home.

What you need to do: You need to print out a set of game grids (links below)

Materials needed: Pencil, score pad, paper with categories and lead letters printed out, timer.

The creators of squares wish you many hours of fun!!! Feel free to create your own category group!

Squares - Object

Squares comprises 15 games for 3 to 6 players.

Example
Fill in as many squares as possible (within a 2 minute time limit) with answers that begin with the letter at the left of each column and correspond to the category on the top of each column.

Squares - Rules

A 2 minute time limit is set for each group of 5 categories (1 round). One player acts as a time keeper and, in the event of disputed answers, judge for each round. The judge passes the game sheets to each player FACE DOWN.

Point values have been assigned to each group of categories. At the end of each round, each player calls out his answers and totals his points. He then puts the point total in the box at the bottom of the page.

The position of judge is rotated after each round. When each player has been the judge once, the scores of all the rounds played are totalled.
Player with the highest score is the winner.

When names of persons are called for, use the last names only.

Unless otherwise specified, names of persons living OR dead may be used.

The articles - a, an, and, the - are to be omitted from all answers. Ex: THE WHITNEY MUSEUM would be acceptable only as it corresponds to the letter "W", NOT the letter "T".
